       At Welch, we encourage our customers to prepare for the appointment before we arrive at your home. By doing this, you can give us all of the information that we will need to make sure we keep your Day & Night System in the best operating condition possible.

• Know the location of all of your heating and cooling units.
• Troubleshoot basic tactics with the thermostat.
• Make sure your air filter is clean or replaced. Dirty filters are a common cause of problems.
• Try and write down your model numbers.
• Be ready to explain the problems you have been experiencing.
• Know how long the problems have been going on.
• Clear a path to your units. If there is any storage or debris in the way, please remove it.
• Keep pets away so that they do not get hurt or in the way.
• Make sure there is an adult home to allow legal entrance.
• Keep the phone nearby as technicians may call to confirm an appnt.
• Get clearance from the landlord if you rent your home.
• If the heat pump or air conditioning coils are frozen, turn it off so that it can thaw out to be serviced.
• Provide previous service orders on the system if applicable.
• Be prepared to make a payment.
